Gilmour Studios approached Forme to bring its commercial and personal photography websites together under one strategic digital home. As the business evolved from a photographer-led personal brand into a multi-photographer studio, the website needed to reflect this shift while maintaining existing brand equity. With commercial photography, weddings, families and a growing range of studio services speaking to distinctly different audiences, the challenge was to create one cohesive experience without losing brand or offering clarity. We developed a website strategy centred around audience-specific user journeys, giving each service space to communicate directly to its ideal client while strengthening the Gilmour Studios brand as a whole.

The website was designed to compliment and showcase Gilmour Studios’ outstanding imagery with typography-led layouts and an industry-distinct colour palette. Dramatic hierarchy and considered use of serif and sans serif typography bring personality to the site, creating a unique feel of sophistication that’s ownable and memorable. Decision-making around user-experience hinged on every action, pathway and exploration feeling effortless. Behind the design, we built a scalable digital foundation designed to support the studio’s next stage of growth. A considered site structure brings its services together while maintaining clear audience segmentation, with streamlined enquiry pathways and a thorough SEO-focused migration helping protect the equity established across the previous websites. The result is a beautiful website experience that not only acts as a photography showcase, it also crafts meaningful industry distinction and makes Gilmour Studios the obvious choice in the market.
